Moving to a new city is always challenging, a large part of that challenge is looking for a place to live but we’re here to help! There are many things to consider in your options-house styles, neighborhood safety, quality of schools, the convenience of location and much more. That’s why we’ve done the research for you; below you will find some of the best neighborhoods in Atlanta (not in any particular order).

Chastain Park

Chastain Park residents definitely get to know each other with all the recreation facilities. Chastain Park has a strong neighborhood association (Chastain Park Civic Association) and the Chastain Park Conservancy. Wonderful neighborhood for jogging and outdoor activities. Only about 7 minutes from the Buckhead business district, and less than 10 minutes to the interstate (I-285 and GA 400). Homes range from $700K to more than $5.0 million

Garden Hills

Garden Hills is a small neighborhood with lots to offer — from the Garden Hills Civic Association, Garden Hills Neighborhood Foundation, Garden Hills Pool & Park Association to the Garden Hills Garden Club. The associations host several events every year, including an Easter egg hunt, Ice Cream Social and more. There are several parks, a duck pond, and a soccer field. Just outside the walls of this gorgeous community is Buckhead’s businesses, restaurants, art galleries, shopping and much more. Homes typically start at about $600K and go up to $2.3 million

Grant Park

All of the residents in Grant Park are dedicated to making the neighborhood the best that it can be. Grant Park is one of the largest public parks in Atlanta and is home to Zoo Atlanta, and several neighborhood events in the park. Great location, with only 5 minutes from Downtown Atlanta and easy access I-75 via I-20. Homes typically start at $350,000 and can be as high as $900,000.

Morningside

Anyone who lives in Morningside loves it. Several small parks and playgrounds are throughout the neighborhood and Piedmont Park is only a 5-minute drive away. You can easily access several interstates, hop on I-75 at Freedom Parkway or 10th St. Morningside is also less than 5 minutes away from Emory University campus and about 7 minutes from Downtown Atlanta. Homes typically start at about $450,000 and can be as high as $2.0 million.
